About this treatment
Carbon Facial — also called the "Hollywood Peel" — uses medical activated carbon applied as a mask. A Q-Switched laser is then passed over the skin: the carbon absorbs the laser energy and is vapourised, taking impurities, dead cells and excess sebum with it. The thermal effect simultaneously tightens pores and stimulates collagen biosynthesis.

The medical-grade carbon nanoparticles bond to impurities deep within the pore. When the 1064 nm Q-Switched laser strikes the carbon, two photothermal effects occur simultaneously — selective photothermolysis vapourises the carbon (extracting absorbed debris) and a controlled thermal pulse stimulates collagen and elastin synthesis at the papillary dermis.
