About this treatment
Photo Facial uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) — a broad-spectrum visible light filtered to wavelengths that target both melanin and oxyhaemoglobin. This corrects sun spots, diffuse redness, broken capillaries, and rosacea simultaneously.
biotech The Science
IPL emits a polychromatic flash of light filtered to a 500–1200 nm range. Specific wavelengths are absorbed by chromophores — melanin (pigment), oxyhaemoglobin (vessels) and water — heating them selectively while sparing surrounding skin. The result is simultaneous correction of two unrelated concerns (pigment + vascularity) in a single pulse.
