About this treatment
Amoura uses multi-wavelength Q-Switched (and where indicated, pico) laser platforms to target every ink colour. Each session shatters pigment particles which are then cleared via lymphatic drainage. Total clearance depends on ink depth, colour palette and age.

Different ink colours absorb different wavelengths — black/blue absorb 1064 nm, red/orange absorb 532 nm, green/blue absorb 694 nm or 755 nm. Each laser pulse generates a photo-acoustic shockwave that fragments the ink into sub-micron particles. The fragments are then phagocytosed by macrophages and cleared via lymphatic drainage over 4–6 weeks. Multiple sessions are needed because only the upper "layer" of ink is fragmented per pulse.
